A while ago I found a tutorial on the web from a guy who makes his own bicycle caps. I just thought, »cool, one day you make one yourself« and totally forgot about it. When I started my practical at the theatre in Braunschweig (in the tailoring dept.) I remembered it, but couldn’t find it on the web any more. I just picked the one I already had, and tried to copy the shape. I’m quite happy with the result. I still can’t believe how much work a simple hat like this is. I hope you like the had aswell.

* Found the tutorial again. If you wanna take a look, check here.

For christmas I got a brandnew iPhone from my parents but it didn’t come with a sleeve or something to protect it. So I decided to train my sewing skills and make one for myself. I don’t take any credits for the design, because it’s basically just lots of ideas I found on the internet and combined. But now my phone is safe and I had the chance to sew a bit :D

I made this chain for the photographic project about Ovid’s Metamorphosis. I had this idea in mind about the triangular shapes – each of them represents one of the fourteen arrows, that killed the children of Niobe. So I tried to combine them and make a symbolic chain with them. But most of my ideas didn’t work out very well. And then I found the beautiful jewellery of Lauren Manoogian, which inspired my chain. Therefore, I don’t take credit for the craft and the technique.
